On occasions pictures of participants may be taken and shared in promoting Barron Area Youth Sports. Pictures may be published in local newspapers, on the Barron Area Youth Sports website, and on the Barron Area Youth Sports Facebook page. Do you give permission for photos of your child to be published:
Conflict Resolution Policy: If a problem should arise throughout the season, please take them directly to your child's coach with intent of a peaceful resolution. If a peaceful argreement/understanding cannot be reached, here are the steps of chain of command that must be followed: (These steps are identifical to the Barron Area High School Policy)
1. The player talks with the coach directly.
2. The player and a parent talk with the coach directly.
3. Email the concern to the coach and the Youth Sports Coordinator: James Schlauderaff: schlauderaffj@barron.k12.wi.us
4. A meeting will be scheduled with the player, parent, coach and the Youth Sports Coordinator. It will be at the coach's convenience.
5. If the matter isn't resolved, a meeting will be scheduled with all of the above and the Barron Area School District Activities Director, Brittni Hover.
