What does PBIS look like at Riverview Middle School

• Establish regular, predictable, positive learning and teaching environments
• Train adults and peers to serve as positive models
• Teach and model behavioral expectations
• Create systems for providing regular positive feedback
• Improve social skills
• Develop environments that support academic success

Few ways RMS Staff establishes a positive learning environment

• PBIS Rewards- a computer program used to give points to students that are doing the right thing 
• PBIS Store and Raffles- students can shop the store or buy raffle tickets for prizes using PBIS Points
• Team Approach- staff works as a team to support students in all areas of learning and the school. Parents and students are part of the team too!
