The Barron Area Montessori School is a charter school with no tuition provided in the Almena Elementary.  The Children's House has 3-6 year olds.  Our E1/E2 classroom has 1st through 6th grade students.  The three year old students follow a half day schedule.  Four year old students may follow a half day or full day schedule five days a week.  Students five and older follow a full day schedule five days a week. 

The classrooms are calm and peaceful with a specially prepared environment that enables the children to be responsible for their work.  Staying in the same classroom all three years enables the children to develop close relationships and allows the teacher to understand each student individually and how best to guide them in their learning.
