We would like to make available one $1000 scholarship to a qualifying graduating senior within your school system. The Scholarship applicant must be pursuing a career in a healthcare related field.

Please note that the following criteria are required or the student will be disqualified from receiving the award.

·        Must be entering a health care related field.

The scoring guide is attached so that you know how your application will be evaluated.

Eligible students must be US citizens, and attend an eligible public high school (our school is considered an eligible school).   You must also be attending an eligible university.  You can search these on their web site at www.hsfmo.org.  Be sure to read other eligibility requirements on their website.

Are you a good public speaker?  Perhaps involved in Forensics and knowledgeable about the US Constitution?  The American Legion has an Oratorical contest program that is a good opportunity for students to win a scholarship.

This is available to students 9-12 grade.

Available to a graduating High School Seniors who plans to study engineering.  Application information can be found at http://www.wspe.org/scholarships

Any graduating senior attending a designated high school within the Barron Electric Cooperative service area whose parents or guardians are members of Barron Electric Cooperative and who plans to attend an institution of post secondary education.  

These scholarships will be randomly selected.  Please see the attached QR code to apply.

Any Wisconsin resident enrolling in a college or vocational/technical school in a course of study leading to a two or four year degree in police science, criminal justice or a law enforcement related field which does not include law school.  More information along with the application can be found at http://wppa.com/resources/scholarship-program/
