Label Collection for the Almena School
The Almena School has a long standing tradition of collecting labels, milk caps, inkjet cartridges and other various items in order to receive money from cooperating companies. The money received from these items is used in cooperation with the Almena Citizens for Education, the parent group on the Almena School. Mrs. Gen Olson, a long time volunteer of the village of Almena, and the Almena School is the organizer of all collection projects for the Almena School. If you have any questions as to what to collect you may call Gen at 357-3472 or call the school and a list will be made available to you. Please tell your neighbors and relatives to save the following items and donate them to the Almena School.
-Milk caps from the following: Land-O-Lakes, Morning Glory, GG Golden Guernsey Dairy Milk, Swiss Valley and Kwik Trip (Also tear strips from bagged milk).

The Almena School works with the Almena Lions Club in collecting items for their Mission to Mexico project. The Lions club will ask the Almena School families to donate toothbrushes, gently used stuffed animals, and toys, school supplies and baseball caps for the children in Mexico. You are encouraged to give to their worthwhile cause too.
You may send any of these to school with your child or drop them off at the school office.
