Hello, I’m Aimee Pintens, the 4th grade teacher at Ridgeland-Dallas. I have been part of the Barron School District since 1990 filling a wide range of roles. Luckily, I was hired to be part of the full time teaching staff in 2015. I have 5 grown children, all of whom attended Ridgeland-Dallas for their elementary years.  

In the classroom, I place a lot of emphasis on helping my students develop skills that will help with the transition to middle school. Working as a community, helping others, and developing a strong work ethic rank high on my list of what kids need to succeed. I have high expectations of students, both behaviorally and academically. My main expectation though is that kids do THEIR best without comparing themselves to others. I work diligently to treat each student as an individual. 

Away from the classroom, my favorite activity is spending time with my grandchildren. In addition,  I enjoy spending as much time outside as possible. Taking long walks with my awesome dog, Daisy, hanging out with my other animals, snowshoeing, and sledding are just a few of the outdoor activities I enjoy. Indoors, I enjoy cooking for family and friends, reading, puzzles, playing games, and scrapbooking.
